Who holds your information

Just a Task (justatask.com) and the service we run on it (the “Service”) are operated by Bossete Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“Bossete”, “we”, “us”).

Just a Task is a product of Bossete Ltd. There is no separate company called Just a Task.

For UK GDPR, Bossete Ltd is the controller of your personal information on justatask.com.

What we collect

When you tap I’m in: a name to call you, the channel and handle we should remind, your level and goal, and that you are 18 or over.

When you use the site: technical data such as your IP address, browser, and pages viewed. If you click accept cookies, we use Vercel Analytics to count visits. We do not use it to sell ads about you.

Why we use it

To run the Service: remind you, guide your path, and keep your streak.

To meet the law: age checks and keeping the records the law requires.

To keep the Service up and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to send you marketing from other products.

Who we share it with

People who operate the Service for Bossete Ltd (hosting, store, analytics) under a contract.

The law, if we must. We never put your details on a public page.

Where it sits

Our store is in London (United Kingdom). Hosts and analytics may process data in the UK, the EEA, or the United States. Where we send data out of the UK, we use a lawful tool, such as a contract the UK ICO accepts.

How long we keep it

Join details: while you train with us, then as long as the law requires.

Site logs and analytics: a short time, unless we must keep them to investigate a problem.

Your rights

If UK GDPR applies, you may ask to see, correct, or delete your information, to restrict or object to some uses, and to receive a copy. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

We may refuse a request that the law does not require, or keep what we must keep (for example a record the law requires).

People under 18

The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

Cookies

We use cookies as set out in the Cookie Policy. Click accept cookies to allow analytics. Reject all leaves only what the site needs.

Change the choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer. We remember it on this device.

API tokens

An API token names your account and opens your rows only. Keep it secret — anyone with it reads as you.

Changes

We may change this Privacy Policy as the Service grows. We will put the new date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after that date, you agree to the new policy.
