Side elbow plank hold
Intermediate30 secondsNo jumping
How to do it
- Lie on your side and prop yourself up on your forearm, elbow directly under your shoulder.
- Stack your feet, lift your hips off the floor until your body forms a straight line from head to heels, and rest your top hand on your hip.
- Then hold that line.
- The work happens quietly along your bottom side - obliques and hip fighting to keep you from sagging - and the only thing that moves should be your breath.
- Complete the hold, then switch sides.
