Squat hold
Beginner30 secondsNo jumping
How to do it
- Squat down until your thighs are close to parallel with the floor, extend your arms straight out in front of you for balance, and stay there.
- That's the whole exercise - and that's exactly why it's hard.
- Keep your weight in your heels, your chest up and your back straight, and hold the position while your legs slowly begin to negotiate.
- Time under tension does all the work here: no reps, no movement, no escape.
