Handstand for strength on rings
Advanced10 repsNo jumping
How to do it
- Start in a support position on the rings with a neutral grip, keeping your arms slightly bent.
- Make sure the rings are stable and parallel to your body.
- This is your starting position.
- Begin the movement by leaning your torso forward while lifting your hips in a controlled manner.
- Shift your weight onto your hands and bring your legs up towards the vertical, ensuring a slight posterior pelvic tilt during the transition to prevent your lower back from arching.
- It is essential that the movement is smooth and comes from shoulder pressing strength, without using any swinging.
- Once you reach the handstand, stabilize the position by locking your shoulders and controlling the width of the rings to avoid any shaking or instability.
- Finally, lower yourself slowly and under control back to the initial support position.
