Superman hold
Beginner30 secondsNo jumping
How to do it
- Lie face down with your arms stretched out in front of you and your legs extended behind you.
- Lift your arms, chest and legs off the floor all at once, reaching long through your fingertips and toes as if flying - and hold.
- The entire back of your body works to keep you airborne: your lower back holds the arch, your glutes keep the legs up, and your shoulders carry the reach.
- Aim for length, not height; a long, low hold beats a short, cramped one.
